Big Mo' (Maurice) Huffman (born in Frankfurt, Germany) is indeed “Big” – big of heart and voice, with an expansive playfulness and a tenderness in his songs that just grabs you, makes you want to bop with him, plead with him, weep with him.
Big Mo' plays and writes for "feel from the stomach," as he puts it -- and it's ageless music for the heart. Drawing on blues, Southern rock, funk and country styles, Big Mo' and his band deliver everything a music lover could want, from high-energy jams to soulful ballads to get-down-and-boogie dance floor delights. Big Mo’ and the Full Moon Band has toured extensively in Germany and California. They've won Best Blues Band at the Monterey Blues Festival, and are eight time winners of the Chico News & Review's prestigious Cammie Award for Best Blues Band.
